I had my 6 month check up today at the Hershey Cancer institute (clean and clear!! By the way) So while I was waiting between appointments I took advantage of the down time to do this sketch of Johnny Depp.
Anyone out the got some pointers on Glasses? The sunglasses were the worst... trying to get the reflective glare down is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Nicely done! :D about reflective glare on glasses...they look fine to me! it's a bit long winded but I'll give you the bed crums to start you off on your search for more info but basically it's to do with values(shading) which is normally defined by a grayscale from 0-9/10 0 being black 10 being white. when dealing with reflective surfaces it's about picking relevant or correct value choices. if you squint your vision it compresses these shadow shapes so you can pick out which areas are the darkest and which are the lightest more easier.
